Notes in Flight | Opening of the Butterfly House

On Saturday 28 March we reopen to the public and for the occasion a special day of nature, discovery and live music awaits you, ending with an aperitif with piadina on the notes of jazz.

An event designed for families, the curious, and lovers of biodiversity: among tropical butterflies, surprising insects, and exotic plants, you will be able to enjoy guided experiences, interactive workshops, and moments of in-depth study, and then relax at sunset with a concert by the Laura Avanzolini Jazz Trio and enjoy an aperitif made in collaboration with La Piadina della Lori.

PROGRAMME OF THE DAY:

10.30 am | Little naturalists grow up
A workshop dedicated to curious families and little explorers.
Participants become little naturalists: they observe butterflies, insects and tropical plants at close quarters, discover how an ecosystem works and understand why biodiversity is fundamental to everyday life.

12.30 p.m. | 10 nature pills: Six-legged secrets
What do butterflies eat? What about stick insects? How do you treat chrysalises? A dynamic meeting with our experts to discover curiosities and secrets of the insect world.

3.30 pm | Guided tour: secrets and wonders
A journey to discover biodiversity. An extraordinary world to observe, understand and protect.

5 p.m. | Little naturalists grow up
Replication of the morning workshop to allow everyone to participate.

5.30 p.m. | Live Jazz Concert and aperitif
Elegant and engaging atmospheres with the Laura Avanzolini Jazz Trio. To follow, an aperitif with piadina made in collaboration with La Piadina della Lori, to end the day among nature, taste and good music.

In the dual role of singer and pianist, Laura Avanzolini ventures into a quartet with an eclectic repertoire that mixes jazz, pop d'auteur and Brazilian music. The group balances transcription and improvisation, in a constant search for interplay and timbral nuances.
